back safe to Scotland...

I am now back from Morocco with a little sunburn, a few more Arabic words, lots more friends and tonnes more love for the country and all those in it. In a bid to try and have different things on my two blogs I am going to write on this one a Psalm that my team wrote together about our time in Morocco. It was the last day in Agadir before starting our journey home, we were doing worship together and I was leading it. I got each person to come up with a sentence about what they love about the culture and another sentence thanking God for something from our time there. Here it is...

I see you're beauty in the way Moroccans value people and celebrate life, the way they love one another. They give to their poor, they don't see different tastes as a reason to dislike each other. I thank you God for a culture that respects you and longs for you. I thank you for a people that embrace life, love people and welcome diversity.

Thankyou God that you can use 4 normal people to change a place, our lives lived honestly before you changes things. I thankyou for opening people up to us when we played games with them. You opperate out of overflow with a hackysack. Thankyou that we can make a difference and we can see it in the grateful eyes of a child playing, a mother watching, a friend re-uiniting and a woman begging.

Amen, praise to God for what he has done.

are the feet of those who bring good news"
